Speaking of awkward openers, Hoffstar’s comment on the previous post was actually pretty close to another line I remember from this past weekend. It wasn’t so much an opening line as it was an awkward thing to say to Conman when the hot bartender was within earshot.
Needless to say, she couldn’t resist chatting with us after this gem:
“Yeah, I actually gave up condoms for Lent.
[awkward silence]
… Well, I’m not even Catholic. So, yeah, I guess you could say, I just haven’t had sex in a while.”
“Don’t worry dude, it’s almost Easter.”
